If your client’s lab results come back with a critical result, as indicated by the lab company, the signing physician will attempt to call your client up to 3 times within a few hours of receiving results. If they aren't able to reach your client, they'll leave a voicemail.

During that phone call, the signing physician will notify the client of their critical result and encourage them to reach out directly to their provider. The signing physician will not provide a diagnosis nor treatment recommendations. Please note, abnormal results do not necessarily indicate a critical result.

You and your client will both receive copies of the results as soon as they are available from the lab. If you and your client have questions about the results or would like to speak to the physician, they're available for 20 minute consultations for an additional fee.
